Green Line: will depart schoenbar at scheduled time 9:15am. Please ride red & blue in mean time. Sorry for inconvenience.

Green Line: Due to snow will stay along Tongass on Snow Route for last the last round of the night.

Green Line: is 15 behind, and taking a right onto Baranof at the top of Carlanna and is not currently serving Alaska & Tower.
Red: 7 min. behind and is not going up into Saxman (picking up at bottom of hill).
Blue: 7 min behind, not going down shoreline.

Green is on time and schedule.
Red is not going up into Saxman, instead will pick up on Tongass at Saxman City Hall.

Green: 10 minutes behind on Snow Route (not going up Carlanna)
Blue: 30 minutes behind on snow route (along Tongass only)
Red: 10 minutes behind on snow route (along Tongass Hwy only).

GREEN LINE: Is avoiding the hills due to snow and ice, only providing service on Tongass Avenue at this time.
RED LINE: Is not going up the Saxman hill.  Will provide service from Tongass Highway.

Red Line: 15 minutes behind, on Snow Route (Tongass HWY only), no service up into Saxman or Fawn Mountain.
Green Line: 15 behind, on snow route (along Tongass and Schoenbar only).
Blue Line: Off-Line due to white-out and slippery road conditions north of Ward Cove. Blue Line will go back on-line when conditions improve.

Blue Line is on time. Blue line will turn around at Light House due to snow in Totem Bight. Blue will pick up along Tongass HWY near Totem Bight but not pull into park. 

Red Line: Snow route along Tongass only.
Green Line: operating regular route.
Blue Line: is currently not operating due to being stuck at Totem Bight State Park. We will update as soon as blue is moving.

Blue & Red lines remain on snow routes. Green Line is going up Carlanna and taking a right on Baranof (missing Alaska & Canyon). Buses are on time. Please be careful navigating the snow burms. Drivers will stop at the safest spot possible (not always directly in front of stop).

All lines are staying along Tongass due to snow. Exception: Green Line is currently making it up Deermount to Schoenbar. Green Line is currently 25 minutes behind schedule.

Please note that all bus stops are not easily accessible due to snow, drivers will stop where it is safe & let people on or off there, please be extra careful when making your way to bus as conditions are slick with deep snow.

Due snowy roads the Bus will pick up at the bottom of Totem Way in Saxman along Tongass.

Due to road icy road conditions north, Blue line has been behind. Blue Line will depart Totem Bight at 9:15am on schedule. Red is 8 min behind, Green is on time.

System Update: Red & Green Lines are on-time & on route.
Blue Line: Staying along Tongass HWY, not going down shoreline, or into AKMHY HQ. Blue line is not picking up at the Totem bight stop due to road conditions, instead will pick up at north end of Totem Bight Rd., just before it heads south on to Tongass HWY.

Blue Line will operate the last loop from 6:45-7:45pm operating the Airporter bus with chains. 
Red Line: is 15 behind and is staying along Tongass hwy only between Fawn Mtn & Walmart. 
Green Line: is operating full route except taking a right at the top of Carlanna on to Baranof, bypassing stops on Baranof north of Carlanna.  Also green line is not stopping on Schoenbar heading uphill, instead is picking up heading downhill on Schoenbar (so as not to get stuck). Green line is on time. 

Pile driving operations at Berth 2 are complete. Two - way traffic traffic has been restored on Front street.

The City of Ketchikan would like to remind property owners throughout the community that it is their responsibility to keep snow and ice from accumulating on the sidewalks adjacent their property. Please note that snow removed from the sidewalks and driveways is to be deposited outside of the street and parking lanes. The City appreciates your assistance in keeping sidewalks safe during this period of winter weather.

General contractor Dutra Construction is rehabilitating Berths 1 & 2 at the Port of Ketchikan. This construction will require the closure of Front St to northbound traffic between Dock St and Mission St for approximately 1 week beginning Monday January 16. Southbound traffic will remain on Front St but be routed around the construction area using the northbound lane. Northbound traffic will be detoured down Main St at the intersection of Mill St and Main St then onto Dock St before rejoining Front St where it intersects Dock St. Parking between Mill and Dock Streets will be restricted during this time.

The City of Ketchikan and NOAA are advising residents that temperatures are forecast to start falling Friday with highs in the twenties and lows in the single digits to near zero throughout next week. Persons are encouraged to check such things as heat tape and in-line glass bulb fuel filters and take appropriate actions for the frigid weather. Due to the forecast cold weather, it is suggested that persons on the KPU water system leave at least one faucet running to minimize the potential for freeze up.

Please remember to check on those persons who may be susceptible to cold temperatures.
